I'm sure things are going to bite me in the ass once the full story is revealed Saturday. If you aren't aware there was a clip released of the new TLG episode that airing this Saturday. www.youtube.com/watch?v=9UJb7kβ¦
The story of how Scar got his namesake is nice the know. (It's pretty underwhelming after 25 years of theorizing to be honest, but how he got his Scar never really mattered to me.) What interested me more is the other lion shown in the clip. He seems to be related to Zira either a brother or her father (I'm hoping it's her father since I want him and Scar to be Zira's gay daddies)
The 13 year old girl inside of me immediatly went to shipping land. Especially since this guy (I'll call the stranger for now) reminds me of Shere Khan, Scar X Shere Khan has always been a favorite crackship of mine.Β
Would a relationship between these two be healthy? Probably not. My view on how a relationship would go is that it is completely one sided on Scar's part. The stranger would probably just be taking advantage of Scar and his roar. This all would end pretty horribly.
I decided to keep using my own design instead of the TLG design for young Scar. I've spent 2 years with my design already and I'm not willing to throw it away XD

I am in fact aware of this book and this story. Itβs pretty common knowledge in the fandom. I chose to ignore it in the description since like you said it those books arenβt canon.

Here's an idea for a comic if you are up for the challenge:
Scar and Mufasa were never really brothers, their dad (an unknown king) just happened to father one of the cubs of a rouge lioness.Β His queen had went through a rigorous labor which lead to her passing out, the unknown king didn't want her finding out about the stillborns in her litter of three.Β The king didn't approve of the only surviving male cub that his wife had delivered.
He replaced the dead cubs with Scar and Mufasa because he didn't want to inform the queen.Β The rouge lioness's fate remains unclear.Β Years later, the king and queen's legitimate heir got passed over in favor of Mufasa, who is the middle child but the firstborn of the rouge lioness.Β The lion ends up joining his youngest brother's Scar's Lion Guard under orders from the king or risk banishment.
The lion wants to get even with his father by becoming king but that means he would need Scar's cooperation.Β

Your idea is pretty interesting... but I don't think I could do it justice. I also already have my own ideas for Scar and Mufasa, which I'm more interested in exploring.
Perhaps there someone else who might be willing turn your idea into a comic.
