Description
An attempt to simplify the flag of the Peru-Bolivian Confederation.
This version has a plain filled sun, with the three stars on top representing the three Republics of the Confederation.
The sun is from the Coat of Arms of South Peru, which represented Inti, the sun god and the main god of the Inca religious cult.
The red was taken from the original background of the flag, where the yellow was taken from the Coat of Arms of South Peru.
