Description (Remake of my old Earth map)
At the hear of the human universe lies the seed of life itself. Her launch loops always pumping in pilgrims and her golden rings pumping out heat. Quadrillions of souls have pushed the physical limits of the planet to it's extreme. We, in our hopes she may survive, have dedicated the northern hemisphere to housing these souls. Ecology and the cultures of old have had vast mega, nay, gigalopolis's carved into their flesh. The crust itself is now only home to these cities. Lo the ever consuming masses of pilgrims who have scarred the face of our beloved. Though one can not blame them for they seek only her awesome beauty.
Earth. Terra. Gaiea. Erets. She goes by many names for her land is the land of every human, nay, every lifeform. We find our history to be a labyrinthine, never ending, mass of forgotten peoples and dead worlds. Yet this infinity bulk is compressed on Earth for she is the center of all history, the convergence point of all humanity. To say her history is labyrinthine would be a understatement. Her history is so infinite it will never be understood, it will never be fully recorded, it could never even be processed by a human. Only the finest works of AI made from perfect engineering and wisdom can begin to process Earth's known history. What lies beyond the reaches of known history will most likely stay there. Woe the history long forgotten by conflicts long gone. Yet we remain to keep her alive.
We must maintain the stream of pilgrims and resources less her ever consuming gluttony lead to her destruction. We know we must. Without her presence humanity would have no shared history, no shared culture. There would be no order throughout the human universe. Yet her gluttony never ends. It knows no bounds. She is an ever consuming engine fueling the empires and polities of humanity. Woe the immortal god things which maintain her bureaucracy. How they labor in there golden palaces amidst the quadrillions of souls in need of righteous governance. Such a feat seems impossible, surely such bulk of humanity could never be managed. Yet they must be. If they weren't given salvation on the planet they kill to walk on could they truly understand their place? Could they see the price they pay and inflict for their spot amidst the nightmare bulk of their kind? We have only the godly rulers to thank for the continued survival of our holiest Earth.

__Gigacities__
To feed the never ending bulk of humans on Earth's surface, Her surface, the gigacities were built. The buildings in a gigacity, if they can be called buildings, stretch to LEO infrastructure and reaches past the bottom of Earth's crust. These spires were built from the strongest of carbon nanotubes and the most secure of active support structures. To keep the active support running Earth must consume a never ending stream of electricity. This comes from one of the only kugelblitz black holes known to exist in the entire human universe. Gigacities main purpose is not to permanently house pilgrims, no, it is to get them in and out to surrounding slum cities. Hundreds of thousands of launch loops couples with millions of space elevators accomplish the herculean task.

__Megacities__
While the gigacities bring in the thousands of billions of pilgrims the megacities take up the task of education, cultural practices, and basic goods. Underground, for a given value of ground, farms and water filtration systems supply pilgrims with basic sustenance. From here a vast array of markets, churches, and libraries fulfill the necessary education of hajis and worships of pilgrimages. Most pilgrims will have to trade and barter for their goods as it's incredibly unlikely their money will even be known about on Earth. Masses of humans moving like cattle are given a chance of salvation as they're herded out to the surrounding slums.

__Cities__
It's of no surprise that such masses of men must be confined. The built up pilgrim filth of an entire galaxy is herded into the greatest city in the Solar system. Here in the vast labyrinth of catacombs quadrillions are either forced to leave Earth for good or take shelter in the crude houses carved into the crust for miles down. Ecosystems simply do not exist here as they do outside the cities. Most will have to take the former. Those that stay likely stay for hundreds of thousands, if not millions of years. Food and water is brought to each house through ancient but reliable networks of tubes and pipes. Every resident of these cities are closely monitored to protect what we have. Their lives are ultimately the exact same until they die. It's unlikely once a pilgrim stays they will ever willingly leave. Genetically engineered ecosystems were set up long ago so pilgrims may make their own clothes and goods. The megacities are almost always inaccessible as the tide of incoming pilgrims never stop. Social settings are common though humans from two entirely separate corners of the galaxy may not be able to even communicate*.

__Southern Hemispehere__
While the north is a clogged cityscape unparalleled in the Solar system the south is very unpopulated with only 700 million people. These lucky few are considered the holiest of all humanity. They rarely leave the south yet stand as the remnants of Earth's old native culture**. One can only imagine the glorious bliss of living such a peaceful life on the homeworld.

Iremia-Greek word for peacfulness
Alkebulan-Translates to either Mother of Humanity or Garden of Eden, I prefer the latter but the former makes more sense in this setting
Nui'Eden-Australia only has around 5000 or so folks as the new rainforests are used to house plants from all over the galaxy
Wesereka-Home of the Columbia gigacity and Columbian Spacing Kingdom
Jungalad-While still brimming with cities some regions are pretty calm and simaler to Alkebulan
Ostia-Translates to Land East, no the most original but whatevs
Kenderandi-Indian culture still somewhat persists. The north is full of cities
Antyourk-Partially terraformed but still home to natives in the ice sheets. People, uh, find a way
Latulaboard-Home of old european cultures, primarily celtic, french, english, and germanic

*Social sciences are developed enough for computers to do this but many don't study these.
**The megacities are too crowded to have a common culture, the areas in the north with climates have culture but are from across the galaxy.
p.s ill be making a political map soon for this
