the background is just fine actually its great, the only thing I've noticed there should be tracks or a hollow on where she was standing.

oh not at all its just a personal preference XD like jpg works fine too! only convert it to a png or jpg file once your complete because itll just flatten the image and layers into 1 (ive had horrible misshaps from it qq)
if you want to transfer your file or picture, to another program save it as a psd, because most of the digital painting programs take psd and it saves layer info (so it doesnt turn into 1 layer)
you probably know this but i just wanna make sure XD! sorry for the long info about layers and shtuff xP

Haha, I do know xD But .png is usually a larger file than .jpg, especially if there are more colors. I usually only use .png if I need the transparency, or the .jpg compression in whatever program I use is leaving me with terrible artifacts @__@ (I've only had this happen to me in the old version of MS Paint though xD Oh, and Flash)
