*SPOILERS GUYS*Freakishly large file.
Made this at like 2 AM, so yeah. It's highly accurate.
Forgive me if there's any mistakes or something, like I said, I made this at 2 AM.
I got lazy after panel 8 so I just rushed everything up. xD

I have. I was so disappointed. Not that it's ending, but how it ended. So many unanswered questions. What happened to Crona? (I think she/he sacrificed themselves to seal Asura away again, but it was really confusing. And am I the only one who saw that coming?) Where's Maka's mom? Do Soul and Maka get together? (THEY SHOULD HAVE! SoMa is my OTP of OTPs) How will Stein handle being a father? How will the witches integrate into the new society? How does Kidd know Soul's real last name? I never saw Soul mention it to him.Β What was with all the boob love?
I think the ending could have been stronger. I believe Ohkubo gave up.

The ending was really messed up. So messed up that more than half of the fandom went into thinking that Ohkubo was trolling us. Unfortunately he wasn't.Β
Fan service. That's it. That's all there was in the final chapter. All that 'Madness of boobs' stuff was sort of unnecessary. Kid mentioned that it was a symbol for maternity and showed how all that Crona longed for was the love of a mother which he/she never obtained. I think that was one of the rare moments of seriousness in the chapter. Another annoying thing was the fact that Shinigami-sama's death was taken so lightly. I mean, we all know that Excalibur is well,Β ExcaliburΒ and won't let a serious second pass by but what about Kid? He didn't seem the slightest of depressed afterwards or anything. Also,Β his OCD was just wasting about 30% of the entire chapter.Β
About the witches; I guess that was sort of expected due to Kid'sΒ behaviorΒ towards them during the Battle on the Moon and how he believed in them for aiding during the battle. But Soul's the last death scythe? What about evil witches? There has to be some of them who'll take advantage of their magic. I mean Medusa wasn't exactly a freaking ray of sunshine if you asked me. And wouldn't people want to obtain the power of a death scythe? How would they deal with that?
Don't get me started on Crona. He/she basically used the brew to trap the kishin within it's madness forever by using Mad Blood and thus, sacrificing him/herself along with it. The element of believing has a great role in Soul Eater. In chapter 112, Crona told Maka that he/she believed in her and she promised to return. I knew that Crona won't get through, the task was just to big to handle. And I don't object to it really. I mean, if Crona did get through somehow it wouldn't be the same. There's a chance he/she wouldn't be pardoned for the sins that he/she had committed. (As much as it pains me to say this, Kid completely agreed with his father when Crona was added to the Shinigami-sama's list and felt that it was necessary to take action to uphold order.) Also, it seemed pretty impossible, seeing Crona was inside the kishin which had to be trapped inside a ball of black blooded madness that covered the entire moon. If Crona did escape-- (which is a possibility considering how you shouldn't question logic in Soul Eater) it would have been like an all happy ending and what not. Crona's sacrifice added a pinch of reality within the chapter.Β
Despite that fact that I'm not objecting Crona's end, I still think that he/she should have gotten some appreciation within the chapter. Even a word or two during the ceremony would have been good enough. He/she basically saved the world. I think he/she deserved a bit of recognition for that.
Soma is kjdsnkjnb. I can't even talk about it. I also had a feeling that it wouldn't happen. (I predict the worst things) But at least they had a 'moment' when Soul was playing his piano. (But it was his weapon formed leg, so he was playing with himself or what? ouo; )Β
This isn't my entire rant but conclusion is that the last chapter sucked. I honestly don't know what happened to Ohkubo, maybe he just wanted to get over with it? Eh.Β

I actually think Maka meant that she'd return for Crona 'someday', it's just that Okubo was too lazy to write it.Β

Also, I think Crona's still alive, but is pretty much doing Lord Death's old job. Using his Soul to seal Asura.

You know, it may not be over. Okubo wouldn't just kill off Marie and Sid without giving them a proper goodbye. Plus Maka promised to go back for Crona. I don't know if you've noticed, but friendship and believing have been big focuses in this story. Liz, Patty and the others believed in Black star when he went to get Kid out of the book. Kid believed in the witches to help them defeat the clowns. Maka and the others believed Kid woudl become a true reaper and now Croan believes that Maka will come back for him.

Yes, there is a possibility. Dying in Soul Eater doesn't happen all that easily and I have feeling that there will be a happy ending. But then, there might be some sort of a catch to it as well. About Crona, maybe zhe won't die but will have some serious damage. (Somewhat like what happened in the anime? Idk.) I mean, consuming the kishin and making it bleed, that's a lot. But zhe did use Brew, so zer capability and power has increased greatly so for Crona dying, the chances are really narrow. Then again, zhe will not be in good condition by the end of it.Β
Yes, believing has a great part in the story, as well as courage so there would be something along those lines that would end the battle. And one thing that confuses me (It might be a stupid thing to say, but I'm going to say it anyway) is that in the last page of the manga, Maka and the others are not shown around the moon. Is that supposed to mean something?Β
Also, there might be something big coming from Kid in the next chapter. Maybe. I hope so. He's a fully awaken shinigami now and shinigami-sama is dead. So isn't he supposed to have a greater role? I'm not sure if Okubo will give him one, but I believe he deserves it. But the ending blow will most likely be by Maka, after all, she is the main protagonist.Β
I'm not going to go into details. So yeah, there's a lot of theories about the upcoming events. I just hope that they'll be a mega plot twist that none of us saw coming.Β

I agree about Crona. If he (btw Zhe. That's a new one to me. Unique) does make it out (very likely. After all he's been through and Maka and the others coming for him, he deserves a happy ending) he won't be unscathed; maybe he'll lose his black blood cause he used it all up to seal the moon. Speaking of which, the last panel was a shot of the whole moon so Maka and others will be specs in size comparison so we can't see them from that distance. Bottom line we'll just have to wait till next month, but at least July is almost over
