The goo material looks absolutely awesome, especially how the body is submerged in deeper layers. The glow coming from the inside of the hands is great, too!

Soooo cute! I always thought Reuniclus looked like an alien from Lilo and Stitch. Was this photoshop or clip studio paint? I'm still trying to learn gimp >__<

This was done in photoshop for the most part, but I used csp to sketch it.

Ohh because I remember you said the newest page of the Nuzlocke was done in Clip Studio Paint, and I'd never heard of it, so I was wondering if it was a good enough program to make this. I'm still figuring out what my preferred program is.

Photoshop is a sort of multipurpose image-editing program. It has a lot of tools which can accomplish a lot of things, and no one specific purpose in mind aside from generally editing images. Clip Studio Paint is specifically designed for artists, and has a lot of tools aimed at making life easier for comic-making, as well as smoother drawing tools compared to Photoshop's. It also has more paint-like blending, compared to Photoshop. It does, however, lack a couple of features which I find useful in PS.
Overall they're both robust and can both be used to make lots of things, but CSP is especially useful for comics, and I'm simply more used to doing individual paintings in Photoshop at this point.
CSP is also much, much more affordable.

Hmm...My friend gave me Photoshop Elements 11, but I'm not sure if it's the same thing as regular photoshop so I haven't tried it yet. Is CSP really cheap? I may just try getting used to GIMP though and try something else if I can't get used to it. I just hate clicking in one corner for something that isn't there because I'm used to another program. T^T I really just need something I can consistently use for creating single pieces or comics if I'm feeling adventurous enough.

PS Elements is a slightly cheaper version of Photoshop with slightly fewer features, but all of the basics are in there. Clip Studio Paint is a one-time purchase, and unlike PS goes on sale relatively often. The thing is, Photoshop is now only offered through a subscription service (to the best of my knowledge) which quickly becomes more expensive than CSP after a couple of months. If your plan is to be making comics or that kind of thing, CSP is a good choice if you ask me. You can also do more digital-painty stuff in it too, I just prefer Photoshop for that since I'm more used to it.

Hmm...I wonder if PS elements 11 is going to be as basic as FireAlpaca then...I feel pretty restricted with FA because it's really just the simple things like airbrush and pen tools, etc. I haven't really gutted it yet to see what all it has hidden away in its nether regions though. Perhaps I'll try CSP if GIMP and elements 11 end up not working out. Thanks for telling me about it! ^__^

I know a lot of people who use FireAlpaca to make really cool stuff. I've never used it myself, but from what I see it has the potential to be pretty good, especially given that it's free. GIMP can also be good, but I dislike its UI.

FA probably has more potential than what I've gotten out of it since I'm not really used to digital art yet. What's a UI? (Probably something super obvious that I'll be embarrassed about not knowing xD)

User Interface. Basically I just don't like how it looks and feels as a program.

Oohh yeah me neither. I still keep looking around for things that either aren't there or they're there but hidden and it's driving me crazy xD And a bunch of other stuff, rant rant. Aaaanywho thanks for educating me on the wonders of digital art programmy stuff. I'm glad I could learn from my favorite comic maker! ^__^

Thanks.
I guess I just know I could've done a lot more with it if I'd put the effort in. Gotta know when to stop I guess.
