I adore the colour scheme and the crack effecrt under her eye...its an interesting winter..almost desert liek, not so fragile as you would expect that season,which makes the tittle very clever. Its beautiful.

A stunning image. Emotional and evokative. Moreso because its grayscale. I like the fact that we cannot see part of her face -- as if she is trying to hide how she feels. The hand reaching up -- as if someone wants to know what she feels or share in her pain -- the hand wanting to pull the hair off her face...
