Testing out lighting and my set up. And I liked out this turned out.I am yet to seek out more models... I'm scared to. I want to see myself doing something that would MAKE a model want to work with me first.
Practice makes perfect I suppose. But I liked this one

good attempt with the backlighting. the colors and light are flattering. i remember going through this phase of self-portrait to test out the new technique before attacking a model with it!

I love the overall lighting, did you use a reflecter? Maybe you should try adding gel to your lights?

I used one high wattage bulb (cant thing of the percise number right now) with a floodlight reflector attatched. Then the same in a smaller version behind me.
And that was my lil set up

Part of me loves the washed out look, but part of me craves a true deep black. I like the lighting either way, makes it feel less studio and more natural and on a side note, I love the hair.

the lighting on this came out really good.... you are getting really good at setting up the lighting and everything... looks way professional. I can't wait to see what else you come up with when you get some new backdrops and stuff
