Eye macros are so common that it's almost as if it's a competition between photographers once they post an eye macro. What makes eye macros: Photographers originality, and also of course, the photo, there's just this omph about it.

I believe eyes are among the most powerful tools of expression. Great detail...that reflection is a bit unfortunate, but it doesn't do much harm. Great variation of tones and colours. Good perspective. I love eye shots. +fav

Really good shot, angle and colors, the only thing is that it's the black color behind the face i thing it's a little bit confuse, but it's just my opinion (i'm not an expert

did you enhance the color somewhat? the 'red' is a really nice companion color to
the blue of your eye. and your eye looks like a pool of clear blue water.
