These little annoying creatures flit around, invisible to all but the drunk.They just love hiding at the bottom of beerglasses or bottles and in bars, waiting for that last sip, so they can hit you with their hammer.
Vicious little things, with a silken tongue, drawing in the sober to ruin their lives..
Based on the 'drink devil' or 'man with the hammer'.

I remember seeing this guy in the creature Lovers Gallery over time I've grown really fond of your whelps. This one is especially cute because of the description and that hammer ^^

I kinda based it off the little devil in a comic book from a series that's very popular in belgium and holland, among other places. Used to read them all as a child.
