Viktor is one of those grumpy old men who loves his plants too much, except for the fact that he is not that old. He cares for what he has, but his past prevented him from getting along with the town's perks. The garden was "herbusiness", but now is his turn.
It was the gift from his wife... She used to love flowers and care for plants in her greenhouse. He loved her so dearly that she gave a "gift" to him as a remembrance before they were separated for eternity. It was the power of making up plants. He thought of her a lot and ended up turning himself into a fern fox. Sadly, the more flower he sees the more it reminds him of his beloved one. Since he's now made out of fern he can easily regenerate himself that he believed they are separated for eternity. Maybe he'd be happy after he gets himself burned, but he knew it's not what his wife wanted him to see. He should really try to see things from the other side and realizes that she would always be with him in his heart, but it's a long journey for him to strive to see, oof I think I tell too much
