Hi!!This is what I have been working on lately!! Kaname realism art!! This was really difficult to do. I think it is one of the most difficult realism art that i attempted. I redraw many times. This is what i think he will look like in real life.. He is kind of young in this art. I think around 16 years old?
Kaname of Vampire Knight is really a hard character to draw. I find him as a complex character. The most difficult part is the hair, nose and mouth. It is the part that i redraw the most. Im glad i finally complete this!! At least his face was done! Now i shall work on his clothes.. This is he closeup shot of his face. I really hope it look much better than the one i did last year!
The funny thing is i did Zero first but i end up drawing Kaname first. I think i will work on Zero for my next art. then i shall move on to some other artwork..

I guess the point here is his nose,if the nose is ...just a little bit...longer,it will make him more mature because Kaname is the most mysterious and gentle character in VK(This is just my guess,don't take it seriously...^-^).By the way,Can I ask you one question? When you make a digital art.The first thing you start is make lineart,right? like you said before,I do have Paint Tool Sai and the question is:How many Tool you use on Paint tool Sai then?,there is A pen but I don't know which number of size should I choose(Also Brush And AirBrush,Did you use them?).

So u think he should have a longer nose? But i quite like the way he is now with that younger look.
I use paint tool sai mostly for anime style colouring cos the line art must really be neat. I use only the brush tool and the pen tool. I set to very fine tip and small size.
This art is done totally in Photoshop cos i did this on my MAC. MAC dont support Paint tool sai. Lineart is actually not that important in realism art cos it will be remove gradually in the end.
U are not greedy... cos i really want to draw Yuki and Zero too.

So...the lineart in Paint Tool Sai in the orther words just like sketching right?,and when you draw you will make a lot of lines(Very Small Size) for a certain part(just like a face),That 's for a pen,and would you please tell me you use the brush for ?

it really depend. There is no definite ans depending on what u draw and the canvas size and resolution u choose for yourself
But i normally use brush size 1px, min size 5% and min density 100% for my lineart. I dont sketch with mouse, i use a wacom tablet for the sketching.

wacom? I used Bamboo tablet.I'm going to learn Photoshop after The holiday (I am bad at Graphics Software So may be it will take a long time to master^_^).

It take time to learn. Have to experiment too. The way you do ur art is really depend. I always try different ways to do my art. In this way, i may discover new things that make the whole process more efficient or something that give better result! Bamboo tablet is ok too. Mine is Wacom Intuos 3.
