continuation of the last post. I changed their face shape, how do you guys feel about this??
they have a thick leathery hide, and they have tiny whiskers that poke out of their skin. they are super hard and thick whiskers. as a species, they have little to no fur. However, if they live in colder climates, they can develop patches of fur in areas like the belly and back. Their little hands aren't really claws, but they aren't hands either. The 'fingers' can bend and move, but not so much as a human hand. They are tiny grippers to help them hold onto rock and soil.
Their hides change color very easily (as in the sun often bleaches their skin). Lack of sun can also change their color. Their skin can also pick up fork/rocks easily so they can gain a 'dusty" look.
