Description This build of Alsédonns can do anything! From working on the ranch all day to winning a hunter derby the next day, these horses are the most reliable all around horses you will ever find.
They are typically built stocky but still carrying the traits from a traditional Alsédonn. Some will be built more sporty and more stocky than others.
Mainly made up of Andalusian, Lusitano, Mustang and Quarter/Paint horse.
•Height ranges from 15-16 hands.
•Thick and slightly wavy mane + tail.
•Light feathering in legs. Closest to the classic type leg feathering.
•They have a thicker coat but during the summer when they have shed their winter coat, they are very shiny.
•High sitting croup
•Thick neck
•Smaller hooves compared to other Alsédonn types
•Slight roman nose
•Small nostrils
•Pointy ears
•Soft eyes

These horses develop a very strong bond to their rider so they should not be passed along to a trillion different riders as it is very difficult for them to trust a new rider/owner. But once bonded to a rider, they are the most loyal horse you will meet.

Obtaining
These imports have to be attained a little differently. since they are a more rare/special aspect of the breed as a whole. There will be an occasional auction or raffle for them but the most common way you have to obtain them is through “a claiming image.” Can be as simple as a little portrait of your rider meeting the horse or a full blown out drawing. A little story is extremely encourage but not required. Simply comment on an important saying “Claim” and you’ll have two weeks to complete a claiming piece for the horse.
These cannot be obtained via custom designs unless otherwise specified.

Please take note, when breeding this type of Alsédonn, crossing it between other types is forbidden.

Short History
After Alsédonns had been rediscovered, approximately 50 were brought to the states and turned free. From there they bred with mustangs. As they began being rounded up, ranchers would breed these horses with their stock horses to produce the perfect ranch horse.
Most still roam freely in Utah and a few in Alberta.
