this is a painting to go along with a very good fanfiction by you can find her fanfiction there. But in the story, there was a scene where she took off his hat. I wanted to do that one, his face is so hard! if youv'e attempted at it, youd know, there is something hard to capture. so, I didn't think he'd look as good without his hat, its alright by me I guess. I hope you all like it. Also, the bandana color, in some pictures of him, you'll see its a old faded red..well, I may have had a little technical problem with the color, and it came out bright red, I hope it didn't ruine it for anyone.Related content

this is where it gets weird! I was at a sushi bar today, and could'nt stop staring at this giant octopus tenticle...it reminded me of davy jones, and all those suction cups.

I have been re-reading my English Rose story, ya know, finding little grammar flaws and such and desided to check out this pic again... I really wanted to say that I still am so in love with this picture!!!!!!!!!! And I read some people's comments, and I am sorry that there was someone without imagination trying to push their ways on you. I agree with you 100% on it, how imagination makes movies like Pirates so big!!!

rawwwr! XD I also have a few myself, I did them for a friends fanfic, but I don't dare post them on deviantart! But drawing davy kissing a girl is a lot of fun! and I agree with you: we need imagination. I think writing a fic about davy falling in love again is fine, as long as you respect his long lost love, and make the whole relation nicely complicated, with davy never knowing what he feels, how he should react... a tormented davy, that's what floats my boat!

Yes, imagination is good. but I say that's going to far keep it at least to the story having him fall in love with someone else goes way outside the story and we didn't need movies to have davy jones be real...hes been a legend forever
according to disneys story falling in love is out of the question for davy the whole point is that he loves someone else more than anything thats why he did all that der!
