Very nice! I like it, because it reminds me of the style of paintings done by M. K. Ciurlionis--he was a Lithuanian painter. He did a lot of surreal and fantastical art.

no, it is a girl's face with a closeup attachment on an old polaroid sx-70 camera. the strange coloration is from the extremely expired film.

this is wonderful. speechless. not only is it cool being an expired polaroid, but i love the composition and how her face is framed, and it also seems to evoke the pain and suffering that is happening in places like Darfur and such. okay, so i'm not speechless.

thanks so much. i appreciate your very kind words. i had received dds before. of course, now, the mystery of the dd no longer exists for me. i woke up and saw a little flood in my message center (though this photo won't be the most popular dd) and immediately thought that meredith had featured that this one. that was pretty cool. thanks!
