Description 2 vertical (portrait) captures stitched and enhanced in PS CS. Images taken at this really great old missionary-style church out in the middle of no where. I had been planning to go back there and shoot for 3 weeks now and finally got around to it!

Wow, the lighting and angle of this shot really give this house a haunting and eery feel to it. Also adding to this mood is the full moon illuminating the cloudy sky...

The only thing that bothers me is that the floodlight has made one of the walls overexposed.

aye..I agree about the floodlight. thank you..I love when people mention stupid little small things like that because they ultimately help the image I think..and I often don't catch them

thanks again for lending your words..

That looks neat. Just curious, what was your main source of light here, and how did you get that interesting light pattern on the sidewalk?

👍: 0 ⏩: 1

er0k In reply to StateOfRevival [2005-07-23 20:33:09 +0000 UTC]

well there were a few different sources..there was a flood light (just out of view in the middle/right) that lit up the front of the building. also there were a few bright street lamps (that give the orange glow) behind me from the parking lot, and they also cast those great shadows on the sidewalk from trees that were also behind me (they were infront of the street lamps of course)

I can't even tell where you pieced them together. This looks beautiful! I love the warm tones, and that SKY! Wow. Gorgeous.

again, glad you enjoyed this!

(a little secret about the image that no one has seemed to notice, but the stitching actually messed up horribly and duplicated the building - making a ghost image to the right of the main one. it's terribley obvious when you notice it..but for some reason the image works I think with it in there so I kept it instead of going in manually and fixing it )

just some stupid er0k trivia fer yah since I like you lol
