Description I really want to challenge myself to do more b&w and street photography, but sometimes I think I've only echo'd what i've seen the great street photographers do. Other times I'm happy with what turns out and feel like I might of got something unique or semi-interesting.. I think this might be a happy mix of the two? who knows! guess you just have to ask 'what would boogie do?'

anyway..woke up about 2am now and can't sleep, so I went back through some of my shots from earlier this week in Austin and decided to dive into this one. taken right off the famed 6th street..was very cold that day, I thought this old-timer was rushing because he was cold but after I snapped this he dropped a few coins in the meter..hah- he said he thought I was reading the meter

( ps, everything I submit here will now be posted @ Antilimit.com as well! )

All your images are so SHARP! Care to share how you do it?

it's really just a process of first making sure you get a quality shot with no camera shake to begin with, then using the unsharpen mask in PS on the "Lightness" layer in channels (after you've converted it to lab color)..i'm sure ifyou play around a bit with the options you will find a result that suits the image you are working with the same

Interesting concept. It really does set off a "rush" atmosphere. For some reason, however, it's just not doing it for me. I'm looking forward to your other attempts, though.

I really like the lines of this picture. I love the story that goes along with it, but it could tell a million different stories. That's what makes a good picture (in my opinion).
