Mountain Shot from along the Million Dollar Highway just North of Silverton, Colorado. If I am correct it is Snowdon Peak.------

nice capture of some great lighting. was the sky really that color or is an artifact of post processing? i've seen that color, but it was when a violent storm was approaching. it's a nice photo, i like it.

Matt it is natural lighting. A strong storm swept the area during the Labor Day weekend.

i thought so, as i mentioned, i've seen that color when a strong storm passed through. again, beautiful capture of great lighting. sometimes it is about being lucky enough to be in the right place at the right time.

I think I figured a portion of the "lucky equation" out. Scout out a shot, wait for when the weather will be stormy. Go to that location and wait for the shot. Or be like me and be extremely lucky. Thanks for the kind word Matt.
