Everyone who'se read Eldest remembers the scene after Eragon is turned into an elf by the dragon's magic (it's very complicated). Eragon is enchanted by magic, and tries to get Ayra to marry him, but she turns him down and leaves. This is how I imagined him to look afterwards, when he's crying on the log.I painted it with watercolour pencils while listening to "Fix You" by Coldplay, I think that's where all the emotion came from for me.
