"There is a really pretty flower meadow not far from here!"

Chroma turned around when she heard those words. a flower meadow close to this place? That was definitely something she would have wanted to check out! Since it was spring and all, there must be quite some nice flowers there to grab. Maybe she could gather some and gift them to her friends? The blue-green umalyn turned around and approached the umalyn that was talking earlier. She apparently was talking to a group of her friends, and they all seemed pretty excited to hear those words.

“Excuse me, but where is this flower meadow you just mentioned?”, Chroma asked her. The other umalyn looked up and smiled at her.

“It is not that far actually, just over the hill in this direction. I know, the grass there doesn’t look too inviting at all, but once you get through it, it gets really lush and there are several different flowers blooming and also some nice trees! I have only been there a few days ago, but I bet it is still beautiful!”

Chroma thanked her and left into the direction the umalyn had told her. She had been right; the grass didn’t look too inviting that way, but she believed what she had heard and kept on going. Shortly after the top of the hill, the grass became greener, and she noticed more and more flowers blossoming. Chroma had to smile at all of them, it just made her happy to look at all of those colours. Starting to laugh, she ran down the hill and let herself fall into the grass and flowers. It was beautiful! If just she could share this moment with her friends, then it would have been even more perfect.

Right in this moment, she heard the splash of some water and somebody laughing. Chroma tucked her ears into the direction she heard the sounds coming from. What was that? The umalyn got up, her curiosity getting the best of her.

Around some of the hills, she found a small lake. The lake was not very big, but it caught the beautiful colours of the sky behind it. Surrounded by some trees and a small miniature cliff, it was really a perfect spot to be. And right there, her eyes caught some young umalyns. A glamorous evening sky-coloured one was sitting on the miniature cliff, clearly trying to dictate the other two what they should do. Apparently, he wanted some of the flowers, but didn’t want to get his paws dirty on his own. The other two, a brown and a light green one, were having fun around and inside the lake, plucking flowers. There were collecting some of the beautiful flowers that surrounded the area, showing it to each other and giving them to the sky coloured one. Chroma had to smile. It seemed like they were all enjoying their spring evening, everybody getting what they wanted. She thought it was time, to also just enjoy her time.

Greeting the other umalyns, Chroma ran down the hill to join them.

I did it You probably don't know but i was drawing this basically since the spring prompts came out at the umalyn group and i had until the last day of may to finish this. I made it, phew. This by now took the longest out of all the drawings i ever made. Even though the characters are actually quite lazily shaded oops. But i guess it fits together with the background?
However, this is, like i said, for a prompt at the Umalyn group, prompts can be seen here umalyn.weebly.com/seasonal-pro…
Though there is only two days left to enter them, lol. But in June there will be prompts for summer and the time is more than enough that even i can finish a picture as you can see
The umalyns i drew there all belong to somebody else and there is a reason why i picked those, because of their owners! Chroma, the blue-green one is my own, a little adventurer. That's why she is also kinda like the protagonist in here. Ashriel, the "evening sky coloured" one is Fyurama 's umalyn. Fyu had many nice ideas for the group and i just love her dedication when it comes to her characters, especially how much she loves Ashriel, so i hope i did him right here ^^ The bright green and yellow one is Cécilia and belongs to nayeshaa . Nay is a long time member and supported fo the group and i just adore how much she always loved the species and didn't stop loving them even though i was neglecting them as the owner ^^" I cannot believe how somebody can love them so much <3 And the brown one is Ferasha, Pandapalz s umalyn. I cannot express how much gratitute i have towards panda! She took over the group and made it into what you can see now. There is so much work and thought and love poured into it, i would have never been able to do that and she just keeps on working on it ;; Panda is such a lovely person at the same time, i am just happy she took what i left of the group and made it into something that beautiful. I love you all, seriosuly <3
