This is defying words, I keep wanting to think/say brain, pumice, aspic, MRI but the definition is elusive in the ambiguity of the image. That's the magic!

Thank you very much! There are two plugins in 'Some Plugins' pack: Spher and TriBoarders2. That Spher generates undesirable britght dot. Sometimes it becomes great problem in combination with other variations. I've tried to scatter it in new version:I'm not sure the result is good (you can see some noise and blur in details). New plugin for Blur variation is not very important for the main structure of this flame.

wow, I know exactly what you mean about those bright dots now! I wonder if there is a way to blot them out without having to use blurs?

There's so much I like about this fractal! It's very original, for a start, and the way the recursive spiralling structure is 'framed' draws you into the image. The colour is great too: it adds to the feeling that you're looking at some form of organic jelly!

The main flame structure is the light tweak of my previous fractal "Introversion". It's defined by two variation: 1) new version of 'Spher' without silly dots and 2) new blur with unusual radial density distribution ~ r**8. 'Linear' and 'noise' have been used for details...
I'll be very grateful for some texture tips from your amazing pieces.
