As he grew Emery became dissatisfied with the people around him, seeing them as weak, cowards, and cruel. He kept his disgust hidden from his father and as they grew he only wanted to make his father proud. They lived peacefully together until Emery began becoming more rebellious in his later teenage years. After starting to date his first boyfriend, his twisted personality began to surface; his disgust for lack of morals, self-respect, and cruelty that people had for each other made him want to correct his first lover by putting him through a series of punishments. A while later his twin brother forced himself back into Emery's life, much to Emery's distaste. They did not get along, their personalities complete opposites. Avory was reckless, cold, cruel, and a glutton while Emery thought himself as proper, mature, and compassionate. It quickly became a competition, with his lover, Illias, in the center of the conflict. After Illias left them, Emery and Avory went their seperate ways until Avory's foolish plan to kidnap Lavender sent everyone out to get him, leaving him for dead until Emery took him home to nurse him back to health. Afterwards he proceeded to punish his brother for his wrongdoings, breaking his pride and forcing him to depend on him. It wasn't until Emery repeated his brother's mistake and kidnapped Genem to try to get to the Tibumeru's lover, Ean, that he was caught, wounded, and Avory began to take care of him. The twins grew closer and after discussing it between them, they decided to stay in town. Their father took them in, giving them one last chance, and made them work in his local construction company for free, while on loan to the people they hurt as they repent for what they've done.
