Tim Burton had nothing to do with Coraline. The reason it says "from the director of Nightmare Before Christmas" in the promotion is that Henry Selick Directed Nightmare Before Christmas.
Henry Selick Directed / Co-wrote / Executive-produced Coraline and some of the same crew / animators that worked on Nightmare also worked on Coraline.
But yes, Tim Burton is amazing.

but still i thought coraline was "eh" becuase it had too many false endings, i would have liked it more if it didnt, as well as it was a LITTLE to obvious what was going to happen, along with all of the random side charcters/stories/and flashbacks.

see, thats how i feel about 9, i LOVED/HATED the movie 9. the plot was original, it had only ONE false ending,the ending was well thought out and the bad guys scared the living hell out of me(STIIL uncomfortable looking at them) i couldnt look at a red light in the dark for a MONTH.
people wonder why it was rated pg13, well the scene with the dead scientist was why. if they had shown the face, it would have been rated R, along with all the dead bodies at th beginning of the movie.

a lot of people are more intelligent than they seem, a lot keep to themselves. I'm one of those that are so far out of the box I stopped caring what people think of me.
