Work in progress. The watch is pretty much done, aside from small tweaking, but I've only roughly blocked in the hand's skin texture. Need to finish and refine it.Suggestions?

Ok, I fought with myself on this one. First, I clicked the link to look at it, then closed out and thought I was done.
My mistake. I -had- to come back, there was just something about this piece that made me reflect how much I want complete control over my life, and yet how little time we as humans have to attain it. Great piece, +fav. Thanks for sharing it with the world.

First I just thought wow thatβs a good peace of art, but then it just hit me how great the concept and how it was portrayed was!
The only suggestion I can think of would be possible make the watch very clear and perfect, but possibly let the background fade out of focus. Of course thatβs an artistic choice and you are better then me when it comes to that.

Excellent idea. Most artists think of hands being the most difficult part of the human body to draw, but this.. It's perfect. I love the whole concept of this pic. it's unique. The skin texture of the hand looks different. You say you want to refine ot? Maybe a little, but don't go too far. It looks so mysterious now. A hand of an old mage holding a watch and taking time to the end of the world or something.
