Earth is my 3rd favorite element. And you have done awesome job yet again. I can hear the shaking of the leaves in the tree's. I can smell the wild flower's and the smell of grass after it rained. I love it. I can't even come up withΒ a mini story. Your really good.

earth is probably my least favorite element. I think it's a bit "safe" compare to the other element. like a defensive type instead of an attack XDΒ

I've been thinking of making tutorials but I have just recently changed my drawing style of making things with no linearts. It changed a lot of my drawing methods and i haven't found a balanced ground yet. once i settle a bit i may.Β
As for creative process... I can quickly draft something up but I highly doubt that it will help anyone. I normally just take an idea or a concept (bird, flower, etc). sketching down everything that comes into my mind. and I draw down the pose that will highlight the design... sketch random scrap. and make as much detail when i draw the lineart or paint it linelessly. Really doesn't help much lol

You keep getting better and better, I see
Green is a "dangerous" colour to work with, it draws a lot of attention for the eye, so it's really hard to give a green-themed painting a focal point, and... that would be the "bad" part. I feel it's hard to know where to put my attention (if you look at your other elements paintings, it's easier to localize the main elements, even with all the detail).
But even then, this piece is full of awesome everywhere:
The background is, plain and simple,the best I've seen from you. Detailed, atmospheric, intense... simply stunning. Just the same about the details, they're everywhere, and very well placed and composed. And of course, the design is gorgeus, and the colour palette, while having the green problem I said before, is vibrant and full of life. The anatomy is pretty good, too!
My recommendations this time should be...
- I see you still play a lot with fore-shortenings. Do you know the coil technique? It may help you a lot:

after you mentioned the green, I noticed that there is no focus in my drawing for the element. you may guess it's an elf, or a forest person, earth element, etc. It does lack the key point in it. next time I set a better focus and blur out the not-as-important elements in more blueish tone.Β
I'm really glad to hear that I have improved XD! I have been working on background for this series. The butterfly series next is focused on lineless drawing to give me better practice on contrast n colors that will make the drawing defined without lines.Β
I never played with the coil technique before. that artist actually knows what he wants to do already and the coil is only as a aid. It may be harder to replicate it. but I will definitely try it! I like different ways to improve on my drawings 
I will test that partial coloring. may create less contrast too. def will look n try it!
I actually have 4 more drawings done just want to upload them when I have more drawings in the bank.

How far into colouring in did you some what regret your heavy detail in your trim?Β
I will do scales or detailed jewlery and just about halfway start regretting it. Then I finish and love it, and I find I am doing it again.Β

I never regret when I'm linearting. I find it fun n relaxing. when I color the base color, I start to regret to the core. (but I color the base color of the big pieces and leave the details at the bottomest layer so i don't have to color them bits by bits.
By the time that I paint the background, I start screaming what the hell did I do. when I'm done with the background, I ask myself why I like to kill myself. When I start coloring the girl, I just want to get it over with and I have a feeling that I want to strangle her after I'm done with the hair. when I get to the clothes.... To be honest, I just ditch in colors and hope to see the end of it and don't care much anymore. Then I finish it. I hate it. wait 3 months... I can tolerate the drawing.
and restart the whole process again.
My sis says that I have a tendency for self torturing. hehe
