Nice! I've been afraid to mess with acrylics because of their fast drying. But stuff done with them always seems to look good.

This was my first time really painting with acrylics, honestly. The fast drying does seem scary, but really itβs quite helpful because you paint over it if need be.

I see. That is helpful to know. I like watercolors because easy cleanup but drying is too fast/too slow for whatever I seem to want to do. Oils are fun (right now) but they take FOREVER to dry. And while I like caring for all of my brushes very well, it does take some time to wash them out (after oil painting) (Frankly if the hot water wouldnβt damage brushes I would totally just wash them off in the shower...) Acrylics may be the good place in the middle. The other funny secret of why I havenβt messed with acrylic is I just donβt want to start having to load up on yet another medium, lol. I think I have literally all the rest except gouache. But I can always add Chinese white to the watercolors for that...

I enjoy watercolors, too. I havenβt worked with oils or gouache yet. I find gouache paintings very nice, though, and Iβd love to work with them some day. Same with oils! Honestly Iβm willing to try anythingπ

I love the colors, and the glittery tails are especially mesmerizing β they remind me of that picture book about the rainbow fish.
