Inspired by the 'All Mediums Contest' (link below) I wanted to get some training with surrealistic pictures and what first came into my mind was a whale with trees on its back. I like whales! Some day I'd like to see them with my own eyes. Such lovely creatures!

The Prompt
Most of us were inspired by the world's masterpieces and master artists at some point during our artistic journey. Some of us even recreated some of these masterpieces to help us learn and grow as artists. Artists like Michelangelo, Da Vinci, Vermeer, Rembrandt, have all made immense contributions to the world of art that can still be felt today.
For this contest, I'm asking you to pick a masterpiece from any of the following time periods: Renaissance, Baroque, Rococo, Neoclassicism, Romanticism, Realism, Pre-Raphaelite, Impressionism, Post-impressionism, Expressionism or Surrealism.
