Indeed! That's one of the reasons why I like the writing for the character.
Far too often you get tomboy characters that they may as well be guys and I think that's really just poor writing. Thankfully you have characters like Rainbow Dash and Applejack who both have tomboyish tendencies but are nothing of the sort.
