Description From my roleplaying game "Shadow Lords" (shadowlords.net)

When the Galactic Emperor declared Keras an Heretic, because he was keeping the Life-force of his Star all for him, he sent the Duke and his "Judgment Moon" to execute the sentence of death for him and his world.
Keras saved his world from destruction, by ripping the fabric of space-time and moving the planet and his solar system, and also 9 other Suns whose life-force he chained togheter for this purpose, into another, new, Universe.

But the new Universe revealed himself as an empty shell without life, and also, the "Judgment Moon", before being neutralized, fired his "Death Ray" on the planet, creating an anti-matter chasm that continually tries to eat the planet, and the Kerasians calls "The Maw of Tsudan" (Tsudan is their name for the God of Death).

Keras had to find a way to bring life-force to his new universe and the planet itself, else it would become sterile and would be eaten by the "Maw of Tsudan".
So he created the Crystal towers, to make a barrier against the Maw, and also connected himself with the biggest tower, and became all one with the crystals.
Whit them he created openings to other worlds, and sent his knights to plant crystals on those worlds, to steal part of their life-force to sustain his own world.
Thus the Kerasian world becomed a sort of "cosmic vampire"...and Keras becomed the "God-King" of Kerasians.

In this image, you can see Keras sitting on his crystal throne, and wearing his "Orhicalcum arm" and his "Blacksilver Spear", wich is said to be made of the same antimatter of the Maw of Tsudan.

All done in photoshop

Sorry for the late answer, I was relocating my house from Turin/Piedmont (northern italy) to Tuscany, so I was without connection (and still are, i'm on a wi-fi connection for now, waiting for the damn phone company to take the line, I asked for it 30 days ago... -__-)

Anyway, it's all done in Photoshop, I took some reference for the body, I guess it was some greek statues since I wanted to give that look, but when I "redoed" the piece (since I repainted it on an older piece of mine), I don't used any reference.

I have several custom brushes in photoshop, but I mostly use basic brushes with opacity settings or not (depending, I block with solid colors, and use opacity for blending and corrections, and light effects).

I have no words that could do this image justice. It's so surreal and cosmic, and -so- very well done. This is the kind of stuff you buy and hang up on your wall because it makes you feel majestic.

Thanks for the nice comment.
It's an old idea I painted years ago when I had less experience, and used in my roleplaying games. So I decided it deserved a new life, and your comment makes me feel I've had a good idea to repaint it.
