No joke! It’s @the-ill-doctor ‘s birthday! I figured they might enjoy some older Fiddauthor (as they are a big fan of that ship). Ford is still guaranteed to be a nerd in distress on a regular basis even post-series, but fortunately, his boyfriend is still more than capable of coming to the rescue, even if he has to build a robot to do it. (Don’t worry, I’m sure Ford has just a scratch. o_O )
Fiddleford’s outfit is based on something that the Ill Doctor drew him wearing at one point. The mecha is based on various sources (including a brief glimpse of the giant Shame-Bot that Fiddleford constructed when “Ernie” failed to come to Fidds’ “retirement party”; and the robot-legs that Ford reported Fidds sketching in Journal 3.) I’ll have to do a full-length pic of it at some point! (And once again, I used the Body-Kun models I got recently to help with pose stuff. Really useful!)
