Done as a birthday present for GarrulousGibberish in May of 2017. I’ve been wanting to do something with the Lighthouse Keeper AU (which they created) for a while, so this was an excellent excuse.
Check out “The Light Keeper” fic (AO3) by impishnature (collabing with Ran), which is super awesome and atmospheric and spooky and warm and heartfelt.
(Thank you to Imp for Sekrit Help figuring out to have Yaquina Head Light play the lighthouse and Heceta Head’s keeper house to play the Shack; I collected a bunch of refs to use for this. And to lighthouseantiquities.net for the excellent repro lighthouse keeper uniform refs.)
