Animals are never ugly.....before long these babies will open their eyes and will form into beautiful birds. This is a very heartwarming shot. Good name for it. 💛

Im vergangenen Jahr hatte unser Amselpärchen um die gleiche Zeit gebrütet. Leider wurden alle Eier von einem Eierdieb (Ratten oder Waschbär) gestohlen. Die zweite Brut schlüpfte dann im Mai. Die dritte Brut kam mitte Juni und wurde leider auch aus dem Nest geholt.

Ja, Ratten und Waschbären, nicht immer nur die von Vogelschützern angefeindeten Katzen!
Bei uns im Garten sind die Elstern eher die Plage für die kleinenren Vögel.

Last year our blackbird couple had been breeding at the same time. Unfortunately, all eggs were stolen by an egg thief. The second brood then hatched in May. The third brood hatched in the middle of June and unfortunately was also taken out of the nest.
