Please follow my Facebook page , where you can get a first look at my images, as well as get all the info about my work, photo tours and other news.Another aurora shot from an amazing evening.
A long exposure at a very high ISO was necessary, since the aurora istelf wasn't very strong. On the bright side, it allowed me to reveal a zillion stars, and their reflections on the silent waters of Jökulsárlón.
This was the coldest I've ever felt in my life.

Oh woooowww. I love both of them, milky way and aurora !!!
Especially the aurora, I want to see it so badly, because in my hometown (tropical country) I can't see aurora.
Hopefully, I could visit there one day and see something amazing like this directly.

the clear nightsky with its stars and galaxies shows us one more time that we are all a tiny grain of sand.

what was the iso? and did you do like a like a 20" exposure? the stars are so sharp and not "streched" it would be interesting to get this shot again with say a 8' exposure to get the streaks, as long as its pointing north or south...
