An absolutely fantastic capture! I love that you spun the title to match the "pose"; it's definitely one of those shots that has the viewer projecting human actions and feelings upon. I get a vibe of a startled look and a guilty "I didn't do it!"

Well done!

Thanks

It is just lovely!

I think the photo is rotated 180 degrees. It brought the tension in the frame and this weightless ghost like creature almost floating in an alien atmosphere with theatrical lighting. I just can't stop watching it.

Greetings...

Thanks man,
It's Empusa something, I'm not an expert in IDing them, I just shoot them
It's indeed a magnificent creature to see in nature, so big, beautiful and alien.

It is simply wonderful again. But whenever I a picture of you see it makes me sad because I have just one focal length of 90 mm and with it one comes not all too far.

Where do you find so many small animals? If I here in the knowledge look then, however, the same little animals... are there over and over again, well, my camera she sees hardly... sigh

greetings declaudi

erezmarom In reply to declaudi [2010-08-18 09:06:46 +0000 UTC]

Don't be sad, 90% of my pics could have been done using a 90mm as well. i'ts a question of knowledge, technique and experience.
Where do I find them? everywhere. Just get out to nature and they'll be there.
Don't lose hope, it takes time.
