I had this idea while making Liberate, and it's very similar to Liberate...I used the same border, the background is the same, and I used some of the same textures. I think this one came out a bit cleaner though...you be the judge. Comments and crit appreciated.
Also, this is one of my larger deviations, so full view is recommended.

Maybe you should fix the those black "borders" around the arms, and the lightning/ shaddows.

this is awsum. the only comment i have that is slightly negative is that i would liked to have seen some shaddows behind the arms. it's most excellent work though.

the hands and the jaw are blended really nicely. I would look for a better stock for the hook though. The stretched jaw is a funny looking idea. Good job!

I'm gonna rip this apart because i love it so much.
The lighting is off...on the hands, the hook looks a little 2d to me, and the peircing through the face is meh.
Everything else, is f$cking gorgeous! instant +fav

nice work! the hole in his chin isnt as convincing as the rest of the piece though, i know its a little knit picky but i think it would just make the entire thing just look much more complete. also if you wanna get into it you can play with some reflections on that rather flat looking hook...these are minor imperfections on an otherwise amazing piece of work, and the blemishes really only become apparent in full view so i guess i wouldnt really worry about it hehehe +fav

I love everything about this, except the hook which looks extremely fake ... that is a shame. Other than that, the piece is very well done. I like the concept, colors and texturing. Also the expression in the face is very powerful, and adds alot to the piece. I will add this to my FAV's, but you really should work on the hook some more. It really could improve on the piece ... Anyways good job
