This probably won't make me very popular but I am slightly annoyed with all the Sherlock shirt designs that showed up recently. I haven't seen the new BBC production yet but honestly, the agressive behaviour of the fandom puts me off completly... all I learned so far (based on all the Sherlock designs) that it's about a guy without eyes, so, here is my response~

Aww dear I'm sorry about the aggression of the Sherlock fandom... it can get quite out of hand. It's true that most of the shirt designs are a bit (ahem) lacking in creativity- though there are some good ones!

In other news- this is a shirt which would make me ridiculously gleeful and I'd go around trying to fake a (Belgian) accent for a day or two. I don't know, it's a combination of the moustache and the font. Hee. Good job, this!

Perhaps if you were to watch Sherlock you would understand the fandom... I agree there are times when the obsession goes too far, but it's great fun nevertheless.
Anyway, great work with Poirot--I'd buy the shirt. I love him, too. <3

I saw Poirot today in the beginning of a movie I was watching in school (just a short snippet of his face; it was an ad to promote the company that produces these films)and I screamed rather loudly "OHMYGODIT'SMONSIEURPOIROTYOUGUYS!!!" and everyone looked at me like I was crazy because they didn't know who he was. Who doesn't know M. Poirot?
Obviously I am not the crazy person here.

So anyway, excellent work.

I guess he is less popular in the USA, I am sad to see it happens to most of the awesome European stuff - they are either completely unknown or they have to make a remake first... :/ (like Skins, or certain Scandinavianmovies - in the case of the latter I can see a reason why they'd make a remake, but Skins, seriously? The original series was in English aswell ><)

I don't doubt the show is awesome, that's what I heard so far (from less biased people aswell)! It's just not very inspiring when every second design on qwertee is a quickly (sometimes terribly) made silhoutte design of Sherlock without eyes (you probably couldn't tell they are from different artists - they look so alike!), and you see all the fans losing their shit over them completly, every time Almost like a new religion, lol.

I think it's well on its way to becoming a new religion. Or something of the sort.

I can see exactly where you're coming from--I tire of repeated fan art, too (not that fan art is something that can be totally original, anyway). And the minimalist style of these vector pieces is kind of cheating in a way. Not to say that I don't love it, but it takes out the challenge out of drawing the facial features.
(I've sort of lost track with where I was going with this XP)
