I took regular pictures of the Simpson characters (...with the exception of Homer. I used a picture of him I found online a long time ago...) and turned them into black and white line drawing in Corel Photo Paint. I then imported them into Gerber Omega and vectorized the images. Then the real work started as I made each one look like the characters I wanted to make them (with the exception of Homer as I said, I found a picture of him as the hulk "busting" through the paper, so when I vectorized him, I just added the missing sections of his arm and leg.) In case you don't who is supposed to be who, here's the break down:Homer + The Incredible Hulk = The Incompetent Homer
Bart + Spider-Man = Spider-Bart
Lisa + Iron Man = Iron Lisa
Maggie + The Punisher = The Pacifier
Marge + Wolverine = Margerine

A recent comic -WHEN BONGOES COLLIDE- had Springfield irradiated when the power plant exploded (Itchy & Scratchy had gotten into our reality and damaged the safety system). Only Bart was spared the gamma blast because he had been grounded and that meant he had to stay home while everybody else went to tour the plant. Thus Bart was the only one not changed by the gamma energy. Homer became as you shown him. Marge became the Entangler with a tentacle of hair. Lisa could focus Dazzler-like light through her saxophone. Grandpa became Oldblood.

The Simpsons are published by Bongo Comics. This company was formed by the creative team of The Simpsons (TV show) and has released many running series and one-shots. You SHOULD be able to find or order them at your local comics store.
