Description The General Electric F110-GE turbo-fan jet engine is a force to be reckon with.

Arguably the most used military jet powerplant for a few good reasons:

Undeniable reliablity - known to keep pounding even when sustained damage and staying operational in SEC mode when a major malfunction occurs  - allowing for safe landing of the jet.

Packs enormous power (with afterburning ) - 28,000 [lbf] worth of thrust.

Can work under various variable weather conditons - Temperature, humidity, icing, wind speed , etc.

It's main drawback is obviously being a fuel burnner but that's a jet engine with an afterburner so there is basically no fuel economey considered.

Also it is considered to be significantly harder to maintain and replace it's modules if compared to it's counterpart - The Part & Whitney F100.

An arkwork dedicated as a tribute to a time period of mine , when I used to be a F110 mechanic back in the army for 5 years. I learned how to test-run those beasts in the test cell.

About the art itself, it was done in the Krita software & HD13 Cintiq drawing tablet - No rulers, measurement or adjustment tools were used, all the drawing was done manually from the start till the end.

It was challenging yet worth it, I enjoyed making this one.
