Description
Monty Moles first appeared in 1990's Super Mario World for the Super Nintendo (Also known as the Super Famicom if you lived in Japan) and they have appeared in a lot of Mario games ever since. They also appeared in many Mario spinoffs such as Mario Kart, Mario & Luigi, Mario Golf, Mario Baseball, Mario Party, Yoshi games and of course Paper Mario. Monty Moles made their first appearance in the first Paper Mario game and they were supposed to appear in Super Paper Mario but they were removed, however their unused sprites can be found in the game's data. Monty Moles have not appeared in another Paper Mario until Paper Mario: The Origami King for the Nintendo Switch in 20 years later.

So here is two different kinds of Monty Moles, the first one in the left is the shady one which he's a enemy/bad guy and while the second one in the right is the normal one which he's a friendly NPC/good guy.
