Description
A newer rifle introduced to the European Space Union, the C50 started to be issued only while the two planets it was occupying was coming to an end. While usually user feedback hastened the introduction of new weapons, this time a "more careful approach" was used to design the rifle, which took a couple of years after feedback from users of the C45 Sniper Rifle. To that end, the weapon was leaner and also fires farther (at the expense of battery usage, as it is a railgun) but penetrates body armor only slightly better than the weapon its replacing.

To improve the capabilities of the rifle, a heavier barrel was introduced (like caseless rifles, the heavier barrel allows a higher charge to be used in this case) which makes the C50 slightly heavier (4.5 kg for the C50) and the engagement range is extended to two and a half kilometers over the C45's two kilometers) and is free floated as much as possible to keep accuracy high. It comes standard with a Bosch-Knopfler imaging scope with a secondary reflex sight for close situations. The monolithic rail platform however enables it to accommodate other accessories as well as side and bottom rails for accessories.
