So, when I started this pic it was suppose to be the background for another burton-esque manip I made. It never looked right. This pic was almost deleted multiple times but I put everything else on hold so I could do something with it.Stock Used:

I like the many layers of the emotion envy you are portraying here. The angel envies the two mermaids, who maybe envy the angel her wings.. and the shadow woman on the shore seems to envy all of them their freedom of movement, hence her darkness. Am I close?

You know me too well. Yes she is dark because she envy's the most. She has a rose in her hand too that she is holding out envying or admiring? She is too small to see it though here. I think I made her too big anyway.

Envy..because she's an angel and can't frolic in the water with them? I almost didn't notice the woman in the water, you blended her so well.
I had to look, then leave it for a bit and come back to it...it's compelling, I'm not sure what's going on, but the way you do you textures always drags me in. (that's a good thing

I should've saved the original to show you. The water at the bottom of the pic was a road in the original. So, I added paint and textures to it to make it look like water. I didnt know what to do with a road in this pic. LOL. In my other pic I want to do I need a road!! HAHAHA
