Description
Many science fiction stories deal with the theory of time being an endless cycle rather than an arrow with a specified direction. All events are said to be predetermined and repeating themselves over the course of time. The serpent eating its own tail "ouroboros" is such a powerful and fascinating image that symbolizes the cyclicality of time, in the sense of something constantly re-creating itself.The initial idea for this piece was inspired by the music and cover artwork of Agalloch's "The serpent and the sphere". I thought that the end of 2015 would be an appropriate timing for such an artwork.
Anyway, I feel kinda "meh" about this work because it was hard to find a proper presentation for the concept, but I hope you like it anyway!

Awesome concept and I must say, awesome album too... I can see how it got you inspired.
As usual with your works I need to zoom in to really appreciate the level of detail. ^.^ Lovely work on the serpents but also on those floating rocks, really like how the light touches them.

actually it is their worst album in my humble opinion. But even the worst album is still pretty cool by Agalloch standards.
I'm not super happy with this particular work, but I didn't want it to go to waste either.

Personally i think those 2 snake's head on the middle are in plus, because if something ends, something begins, this means.....only 1 head and only 1 tail
