Have you heard of the white lion?

I have, but haven't seen it.

Ah yes, can't forget that scene can we? Just one of many scenes that make The Lion King such an iconic and unforgettable film. Β Mufasa:Β "Simba... Let me tell you something that my father told me... Look at the stars. The great kings of the past look down on us from those stars.Simba:Β "Really?"Mufasa:Β "Yes... So whenever you feel alone, just remember that those kings will always be there to guide you ... And so will I."

I agree with ya pal.

Hell, I think EVERY scene in that movie is iconic. The movie's so well known and beloved that people like me could recite it in their sleep. Β And to think Disney thought Pocahontas would be their big blockbuster and The Lion King was just a "side project" when it was being made. Maybe that's why they put so much effort into it, because people believed this "side project" could be more than a side project. And ironically enough, The Lion King was their big money making giant and became a pop-culture phenomenon while Pocahontas was considered "OK" at best. Shows just how much Disney underestimated that film. Β

Same here. ^^I agree. Disney sure surprises me in the best ways. ^^

Disney is all full of surprises. I mean they actually managed to make a video-game based movie and make it good for starters! And they managed to take the "world of talking animals" concept and make it new again! Β

I agree.

And I bet they'll surprise us again with this year's Wreck-It Ralph sequel. I mean, it's already looking like a better version of The Emoji Movie from the trailers. Β
