This coat is truly one of a kind. The extra-long hood is sewn in a spiral pattern, and the sleeves and pockets remind me of tree bark. (soft, fuzzy, mossy tree bark) It's made of blizzard and alpine fleece and zips comfortably up the front, with a tie at the neck for extra warmth.

The super long hood doubles as a scarf for chilly forest mornings. The sleeves end in knit cuffs, to keep the night breezes from blowing up your arms.

The sides of this Wildwood Coat are corseted so it will fit and flatter a very wide range of figures. This coat is made to fit a women's Medium. I am 5'6 and wear a size 8 in most clothes, but with the uneven shreddies on the hemline, it will look wonderful on a wide variety of wearers of different heights and sizes.

This coat goes perfectly with any elf or LOTR costume or attire. It's perfect for Renaissance Faires or Faerie Festivals or Conventions, and it's fleecy and comfy enough to just wear around the house on chilly spring evenings.

I probably won't make any more of these. The intricacy and haphazardness of the design would make duplication impossible.. so if you are in love with it, you may want to make it yours sooner rather than later...
