Description
I used a grid to sketch this out, but found that although it helped with sizing, it didn’t make proportion that much easier. It still turned out very well, though- it was what I consider my first truly successful painting of a furry animal. I have been intimidated by drawing wolves because of the weird way their faces lay, but I surprised myself.
I may use a grid for larger-scale drawings, but I think it’s a bit of a hassle for small ones.
