Adorable dorks being adorable at each other.It's the final character designs for the protagonists of Leif & Thorn ! (Well, "final" in the sense of "we're gonna start with these, and they'll evolve as the strip goes on.") The story is a sparkly fantasy dramedy with magic, bilingual shenanigans, the occasional dragon, and more queer characters than you can shake an enchanted sword at.

Cecil doesn't have a canon appearance, so there's no way to say who "looks like" him....
Thorn does have dark skin and great hair, though. And the way I draw Carlos's hair was adapted from the way I draw his. Although if I drew Thorn and my-version-of-Carlos next to each other, the differences would be pretty stark -- for one thing, Carlos is at least six inches taller
