HDM witches are so great. (Phillip Pullman should write a story about how their society works some day. Do they have their own buildings? Live in igloos? Or maybe they spend all their time outside, and sleep like birds, nesting in trees or floating on lakes.)

From the way Kaisa is described, he's probably a white-fronted goose . Serafina is referred to as "fair", in a context where it's probably supposed to mean she's blonde, but I went with her fair-skinned/dark-haired movie appearance.
