Description A cyber fantasy themed vertical scrolling SHMUP from Amiga, which the game is shown to be a sequel to Wings of Death through the title spelled "Wings of Death 2". While other Amiga games either have no music or no sound effects, Lethal Xcess has both music and sound at the same time. Each item collected a radio voice says the name of weapons or bombs, the only one item that must be avoided is the skull shaped, as it decreases the ship's upgrades. The gameplay is beyond difficult with enemies appearing out of nowhere, the ship with a larger hitbox, easy to take damage and lowering the lifebar, not to mention the stages that are long, a flopdisk appears with the stage name below after each completed mission, it's simultaneous for two players, whose one of the ships resembles the Enterprize (Star Trek) and the other... well, it would be the drone itself, but playable. The good part of Lethal Xcess is that it received top marks in gaming magazines and unfortunately, the game was not well received in the markets. Something worth mentioning is that Lethal Xcess works both on Amiga 500 and Atari ST.
