this totally reminds me of a cubicle... im really liking your work, its very urban yet laid back and... i dunno im bad at explaining things but i can definitely see the 'radiohead style' that someone pointed out.

I agree with the radiohead comment. that industrial plan look. yours evokes the idea of an aerial architectural drawing of a development -- several buildings perhaps. I like the pastel-y earth tones.

not much good at critique-ing paintings, but I like it...
nice and minimal, in respect to the colours aswell
like the dot textures where the numbers are
makes me think of a flow of gritty art through some urban streets, with some people taking notice and others not

it's like a quiet cacophony, if that's possible. i feel like i'm looking at a bunch of thought processes overlapping and juxtapositioning in funky ways. it's cool. what aspect of it makes you not sure what to think? and where in allston?

yeah, I feel like a lot of my paintings are abstractions of thought processes, but not sure if that's alwaysclear. I really don't know what I do sometimes errr most of the time...I guess I'm not sure if it's done, I didn't want to overwork it so I posted it here to make me stop working on it, for now :]
but anyways the show's at the Reel Bar, across from the Fire Station, I'd love it if you could make it, I'm finishing up the flyers now... do you have an email I could send a flyer to? thx-erik

i think i know that feeling! if you're showing or emphasizing process in anyway it's even harder i think to know where that ends and becomes something else.
i would love to. i can't make it the first week though because we are heading out on a weeklong roadtrip/vacation beginning on the 2nd. but i definitely want to stop in when we get back. cool, send the flyer here: fredfreeland@earthlink.net

i know, that humidity was insane, it was 85 the other day and it didn't seem bad at all, compared to before.
are you staying in New England for your trip? if you're camping at all , beware of the RVs (they're huge)

i think this is fantastic - i wish i could do something like this - its very radiohead - thats what it reminds me of - sorta laid back radiohead style artwork
